MOMS Minutes

Attendance: Chris Colvin (Council),  Chris Hice (Chamber), Anna Garafolo (Chamber), Mollie Wentworth (Merchant), Becky Cook (Chamber), 
Connie Miller (Guest), Charlotte Bryan (Merchant), Jona Powell (Merchant), Gus Edwards (Township)

1) Meeting called to order at 5:00pm

2) Showed the concrete bids collected by Chief Copeland. The group felt that the decorative work was not as important as other aspects such
as the electrical/accessibility needs. Also seeking matching grants for the sidewalk work.

3) Discussed the trees. Lots of questions on using the same boxes, the timing of planting (fall), coordination with future sidewalk work, the need to
address current problems now... Chris Hice reported 15 spots are missing trees. It was mentioned that 3-4 trees are hazardous. Chris Colvin
recommended reaching out to Chief Copelend on the issues.

4) Discussion on the gazebo and Township properity. Gus Edwards indicated the Township is preparing to setup a committee to work on a master plan 
and he would welcome MOMS support with the gazebo with weeding/mulch/fence. 

5) Mollie talked about greens and the group approved her to use MOMS funds for any required purchases.

6) Chris Colvin reported that the existing Village decorations will be used for Hearth Warming and Christmas in the Village. Next year revisit
updating the decorations since the current prices are way high.

7) The November 18th 5pm would be the normal meeting but the group agreed to wait till next year.
